Southern California Campus LGBT Resource Professionals Gathering
July 10-11, 2017 @ UC San Diego

Professional staff and graduate students whose job descriptions include providing LGBT resources and services on a college campus are invited to attend a Southwest Regional Meeting of the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals.

Parking
If you stay at the Sheraton La Jolla and want to walk, it is 1 mile, and up a hill – same for the Marriott Residence Inn (uphill but from the other direction). The LGBT Resource Center is completely accessible to people with disabilities. There are multiple handicap parking spaces near the Center in parking area P113. 1:30pm    Keynote address by Chaz Ashley-Cruz
chaz is a Black queer (BlaQ), multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary scholar, poet, educator, artist. He was born and raised in Southern California by his maternal grandparents; this upbringing informs his compassion toward addiction, survivors and elders. He earned his bachelor of arts in liberal studies from Cal State University Los Angeles, and master of arts in organization leadership from the University of San Francisco. Chaz brings critical womanist/feminist and critical race theory to education and student affairs work with love, engagement, and intentionality.
